Programme Overview

The EdD enables experienced educators to investigate a complex problem of practice and generate evidence with direct value for institutions, communities and policy.

Delivered by London International College, this programme combines rigorous academic content with a strongly applied approach: every module is built around the situations, decisions and challenges professionals actually face. Assessment & Delivery

Progress is assessed through structured doctoral milestones — a confirmed research proposal, taught research-methods modules, progression reviews, and finally the doctoral thesis defended at a viva voce examination.

Entry Requirements

A master's degree in a related field, normally with merit or above.
Substantial professional experience (typically 5+ years) in a relevant leadership or specialist role.
A viable research proposal addressing a significant challenge in professional practice.
English language: IELTS 6.5+ or equivalent.
